We need to ban the use of microplastic here in the UK immediately. I am a 11 year old girl fighting for our planet that has cared for us for over 4 billion years.

There are so many things that humans have done wrong, but any problems we make, we have the power to fix, and I have tried so many times writing to the government and big companies, but the replies I did get told me to wait. But I am not going to wait any longer. I refuse to sit here and watch our incredible planet die. 

Microplastics are what companies put in all of our day to day products to generally make them look silky. Our silky shampoos have microplastics in them, facewashes, moisturisers, toothpaste and many other things. Companies do this because they make their product have a nice texture and a special silky effect.

This technically means we are eating plastic, and gladly smothering it all other ourselves. Plastic really is everywhere! 

I can't do this alone. And those 5 words are the words I have spoke, and wrote, hundreds of times, and I won't stop. I'm not upset anymore.I am angry. We do not realise the mess we have made and we are not bothered to stop it, and that is why I have made this petition. I won't watch our animals, plants, nature, or world die, and I would be surprised if anyone else would too.
