When social services involve themselves in a family, there is currently no system of appeals to argue their decision. Every other organisation has an appeals system but social services do not and that makes them able to take liberties without fear of recourse.  

They're able to lie and twist things to make parents look like they're failing and this can and does have a very negative effect on a families emotional wellbeing.  

Given the current situation,  the way these things are dealt with is all over the phone and there is nothing in place for people who cannot do it in this way and no system of appeals to argue it at a later date. This gives them a more power than the police or any one else. They can and do ruin lives.  

I want it to be made possible for parents to be able to fight their case,  to not be labelled and suffer the injustice of not being able to clear their names. I want social services to not be above the law. At present,  all you can do is complain to your local authority. This takes ages and gives very limited scope to add more information and evidence at any point.  Please help me to help others who are unjustly labelled by social services,  who are having their lives torn to bits and having their mental health distroyed!
