SKINNER-OTIS Selle Valley REZONE: Hearing is Februrary 9th at 1:30 pm at the County building the County Commissioners will decide on the Skinner rezone of 714 acres. This application is bad news and would allow double the density (from 35 allowed to 71 lots) near Pack River in the Selle Valley off Colburn Culver Rd.
We absolutely nailed the Planning and Zoning hearing and we need to do that again because the County Commissioners will make the final decision.
If you don't show up, they say that we don't care. Show them how much we care. Show up and testify at the hearing or via zoom. File number ZC0028-21.

CAMP BAY ROAD VACATION REHEARING--February 16th County Commissioner hearing. Time to be determined. Camp Bay Road vacation. We'll send another reminder out on this one with more information as it becomes available.
SAVE CAMP BAY BBQ February 5th - JOIN US!
Please join us on February 5th down on the beach at Camp Bay! Last year our county commissioners voted to vacate over 2500’ of public county road for the benefit of a developer that leads down to public waterfront on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille. The neighbors then challenged, won and now the county has been ordered to pay the attorneys fees and hold a new hearing on Feb. 16. Come enjoy a beach BBQ and learn how Camp Bay has 50' of legal public waterfront access that should NOT be given away by our commissioners and how you can help save this valuable public access!
This BBQ will have two speakers informing the public as to what is truly happening with Camp Bay and how it is not in the best interest for the county to gift to a developer and erase this public property. We hope to see you there!

3. Support our KBCR CODE AMENDMENT AM0021-21 TO STOP THE DENSITY--FEB 17TH--PLANNING AND ZONING HEARING AT 5:30 at the county building. Letters due through Feb 10th
This amendment, if passed would put a stop to all the zoning increases. This is what we have all been waiting for! See here for amendment narrative. It's a good read.
First of all write emails of support. Include the file number AM0021-21. Even if you only write an email that says that you support passing the KBCR amendment, that is enough. Commit to getting 5 more people to write an email too. WE NEED VOLUME FOR THIS ONE!
WE NEED TO SHOW THEM THAT THIS IS WHAT THE MAJORITY OF THE COUNTY WANTS.
Commit to coming to the hearing to hear our presentation and plan to speak in favor of this amendment.
If we can get PnZ on board with our amendment it will be harder to the County Commissioners to ignore it.
But we MUST show them that there is wide spread support across the entire county. PLEASE SEND AN EMAIL NOW to planning@bonnercountyid.gov showing your support for this amendment and get your friends to do the same.
