When the 4th season of Bungou Stray Dogs 文豪ストレイドッグス is in the process of getting animated soon, one of the most wanted by our fandom to see is the Decay of Angels member ー Nikolai Gogol.

(For anyone who haven't read the BSD Manga, there's a little bit spoiler here.)

Nikolai Gogol is in the same affiliation as Fyodor Dostoyevsky, known as the Decay of Angels (along with Sigma as well). He appears to have long braided hair and dressed in jester-like outfit with a top hat, eyepatch and large white coat which is supposed to be his ability ー he can open portals beneath his cape (probably refers to the literary work "The Overcoat" by Nikolai Gogol, 1842).

His personality is shown as a dynamic, bouncy, talkactive trickster. Also, not to forget his iconic smile. Despite mostly seems like a psychotic assassin, he once showed his calm side when he confessed his dream of living in freedom, like birds outside a cage. 

We can also see in the bonus part of BSD Manga where he oftenly enjoys a bonding time with his comrade, Fyodor, by telling puns and jokes. "Dos-kun" is the nickname Nikolai gave to Fyodor.

We think it would be cool if Bones chose a fitting voice cast who's able to capture his character perfectly. Thus, we recommend Ryūichi Kijima (Kanji: 木島 隆一) for Nikolai Gogol's VA in BSD S4.
