Hi,

Firstly thank you *SO SO* much for signing this petition. I know that a lot of people have been busy fighting for/supporting all of the BLM protests/campaigns as well as other social justice issues/urgent cases. So I understand that lots of people are burnt out right now. So *thank you* =)

Secondly, at the time of me writing this we're at 260 signatures which is so cool! It's been less than 48 hours so I'm hoping we can all keep sharing the link and I'll do my best to keep trying to get the petition out there. 

On that note, I just wanted to tell you that I've been working loads on contacting different people/groups that I think might be up for signing and then sharing within their networks. I've contacted people on social media and sent a few emails. It does take me a while because of my disabilities but I've been really lucky that several people I've reached out to have offered help which I'm SO SO grateful for!! =)

I'm working on an email template and once that's done we can directly email the Board members/MPs and possibly a few others.

A few people have asked me what the goal is for the number of signatures. I'm gonna be honest and say that I've never started a petition before (!) so I'm really just figuring it out as I go along!! Change.org sets goals each time the petition goes past e.g. 100, 200, 500. The next goal is 500 and we are already over half way to that which is AMAZING!! =)

Sorry that this was a long update! Keep signing and sharing and if you know me personally and want to help at all I wouldn't turn down the help! I am feeling a bit burnt out and exhausted to be totally honest!
