Dear Supporters,

The petition to remove the Confederate monument statue, which sits at the town square in Yanceyville, NC is no longer one with a deadline. It will be here until there is a new and successful vote conducted by the Caswell County Board of Commissioners to remove the Jim Crow era relic honoring white supremacy.

Therefore, we kindly ask for your support in sharing the petition with all who agree that the statue should be gone, and for the simple reason that is the right thing to do. Please share the petition with as many people as you possibly can.

The fact of the matter is we would like for you, if you're not from the area, to visit one day a town -- Yanceyville -- that is newly imagined. Its motto is "Tradition With Vision." We want its vision to based on the American tradition of equality not inequality, justice not injustice. We ask that you help us get there so that one day, should you visit us, you can proudly stand in the town square and see what you helped make possible.

Thank you very much for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Concerned Citizens of Caswell County
