Blum Community Deserves Better!

The Issue

Statement Regarding the Blum Airdrop Project on Telegram

The Blum Airdrop project, promoted as an inclusive opportunity for community members to earn tokens, has raised significant concerns among participants due to its recently disclosed criteria. Specifically, the second eligibility requirement of 750 "BP" (Blum Points) risks excluding a large number of dedicated users who have actively engaged with the project for nearly a year, only to now face disqualification over an arbitrary threshold.

Many participants have invested time, effort, and trust in this project since its inception, completing tasks, recruiting users, and contributing to its growth under the impression that their loyalty would be rewarded. To abruptly enforce a 750 BP requirement—without clear prior communication or transparency—feels unjust, especially for those who have consistently engaged but fall short due to shifting rules.

What compounds this frustration is the growing sentiment that this criteria appears designed to purposely narrow the pool of eligible recipients, allowing the project to distribute tokens to a disproportionately small group of users. This creates a perception that long-term participants are being sidelined to inflate token allocations for a select few, contradicting the principles of fairness and decentralization often championed in crypto initiatives.

Airdrop projects thrive on community trust, and Blum’s current approach risks alienating its most committed supporters. We urge the Blum team to reconsider the criteria, honor the contributions of long-standing participants, and adopt a more equitable distribution model that reflects the loyalty and effort users have invested over the past year. Transparency and fairness must prevail to restore faith in this project.

The community deserves better.
