We need your help! 

My mom has a Stage 4 Fallopian tube/ovarian cancer. She has premium insurance coverage and has participated in several trials at MD Anderson Cancer Center. These trials have kept her alive the last 3 years and have been covered by insurance. There is a new drug/procedure just out that could save her life and possibly cure her cancer. 

Her insurance company, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas is denying her claim saying it’s “not medically necessary” for her to stay in the hospital while she receives her T-cell Therapy. The drugs she would receive would be free to us and to BCBS. She is advancing the science as there is currently no cure, so the drug company is passionate about covering this for us. (These drugs are FDA appproved.) 

Her doctor is advocating for her against BCBS. But we are running out of options and this is her last hope.

It’s clear to us Blue Cross Blue Shield just doesn’t want to cover “standard of care.” If she got covid and was in the hospital, they would cover her— but not for her cancer trial. 

Please sign this petition asking Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas to reverse their decision for Audrey Daniell-Ehrlich to receive her cancer treatment and to uphold basic “standard of care” in the hospital.
