Reed is now 8 years old and a big brother to 2 siblings. We were lucky to have another family donate their used adaptive bike to Reed after their child outgrew it. Reed has now outgrown that bike and needs the next size up. However, it is very expensive and not covered by insurance because it is not “medically necessary.” But this bike enables Reed to feel more like a regular kid by being able to out and ride bikes with his family since he does not have the coordination and muscle skills to ride a regular bike.
