I am a resident of Bloomington, IN, USA and I believe in the sanctity of all life. It deeply saddens me to see the loss of more than 30,000 precious lives in Gaza due to ongoing conflicts. These are not just numbers; they are mothers, fathers, children - human beings whose lives were abruptly ended due to violence.

This petition is about recognizing our shared humanity and urging world leaders to take immediate action towards establishing peace. We call on our city representatives from Bloomington to use their influence to join 70 other cities across the US and raise their voice in advocating for an immediate bi-lateral ceasefire in Gaza and release of all hostages.

People are dying everyday. It is estimated that 75,000 lives (half of which are children) could be saved by calling for a ceasefire.
