We, the community of listeners and supporters of 88.1 KDHX, are deeply concerned about the grave crisis at community radio in St. Louis.

On January 31, 2025, all on-air and content-producing volunteers of KDHX were summarily terminated. We reject this action and fear it indicates an intent to sell our beloved community radio station.

We oppose any attempt to sell, transfer or lease the FM frequency and broadcast license of KDHX to any organization that does not support the goals and values upon which the station was founded.

We call on the Double Helix Board of Directors to reverse course now and resolve this crisis once and for all.
