As the beginning of Children's Week draws near, my heart is turned towards the orphans of Azeroth.  Those who have lost their parents to the tragedies that have befallen our beloved war-torn planet.

In becoming queen consort of to King Anduin, I would strive to enable a way for Azeroth's champions to donate gold to the orphanages in their respective capitals.  Those donations in-turn, would go to help real children's hospitals where kids fight for their lives everyday. 

The way it would work would be based on the monetary value of the WoW token.  When you purchase a WoW token in game with gold, it is worth about $15 or 30 days game time.  The Orphan Matrons could act as paymasters that players can contribute gold to.  For every WoW token worth of gold that is collected, Blizzard would send $15 to a worthy children's charity.

I personally would love the ability to contribute to be available all year round, but perhaps a special fundraising goal could be set for the duration of Children's Week.
