[Photo from trans bodybuilding competition] Hi everyone, First of all I would like to thank you for your continuous support and for following this campaign. I'm happy to report that Blink has taken the discrimination report I filed very seriously (if you don't know about it, check it here https://www.change.org/p/blink-fitness-make-your-lockers-safe-for-trans-and-gender-non-conforming-members/u/21433879). The employee who was publicly and explicitly transphobic to me has been terminated. This action speaks volumes. It sends a message that discrimination, bigotry and unprofessionalism will not be tolerated. Blink is continuing their design plan to implement some of the changes described in this very petition. I will continue to be involved in this process and would like to invite any other trans and gender non-conforming person to continue to give suggestions, express concerns and share their ideas. In the mean time, I worked out at Planet Fitness and even though their lockers are very gendered (the "men's" has the male gender icon and "women's" the female gender icon, *eyeroll*), they have individual dressing rooms and showers with doors, which alleviates the tension that it can be to use locker spaces. I'm looking forward to more updates and seeing Blink be for everybody!
