EVERYTHING PUSHING THE TRANSITION TO RENEWABLES IS BUILT ON LIES - LIES 1 AND 2.
In every instance where close inspection is given to the rush to Transition from Coal Fire Power Stations to Renewables, a lie is uncovered.
Lie No 1. That man-produced Co2 (Carbon dioxide), creates a Greenhouse (cover?) in the atmosphere which retains, reflected and radiated heat, which is heating the atmosphere. It is a lie because: CO2 (a trace element) makes up only 427ppm (parts per million) or .04% of the World’s atmosphere. It is essential for life, particularly human life, if it falls below, 180ppm, living creatures struggle to live and green areas become arid. The actual fact is that if any Greenhouse cover is formed. It is formed by the water vapour and clouds that make up 70% of the actual Greenhouse gases. This, is confirmed by the fact that on clear, calm nights, the Green House cover miraculously disappears, leaving cold, calm nights, when solar and wind farms produce nothing.
Lie No 2. Renewables are equivalent to coal, gas and nuclear electricity generators, that are able to generate base load POWER 2/7.
Actual fact. Solar panels, wind turbines and batteries, are fake, intermittent, unreliable, inefficient, substandard energy converters. Because Solar and Wind Converters electricity production is governed by whether their required fuel Sunshine or the just-right Wind speed is available? And this (Sunshine) fuel supply, is at best only available for Solar, for 26% (or six hours) of each day, after all every night there is at least 16 hours of darkness. And clouds and rain can reduce the 6 hours to little or nothing. With Wind (the Wind industry average) is only 33% or 8 hours of each day). Wind droughts are known to last for hours, days and even weeks, creating further unreliability. As for Batteries they produce no electricity of their own, (they only store it). As well they lose up to 10% converting AC current to DC current using converters on the way in. And another 10% in the conversion on the way out. As they are charged from unreliable sources, solar, wind, their output of electricity is even more unreliable. To be profitable Batteries have to drive up, electricity prices to consumers in order to be profitable.
Conclusion. Renewables are in no way able to produce a reliable supply of electricity24/7. And should never be considered for supplying to the Grid.
EVERY DAY THIS SITUATION IS ALLOWED TO CONTINUE THE ABILITY TO TURN IT AROUND BECOMES LESS POSSIBLE.
It all makes our petition extremely important: TO STOP THE CLOSURE OF ALL THE AUSTRALIAN COAL FIRED POWER STATIONS AND TO KEEP THEM RUNNING IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE.
This includes Eraring NOW 2029, Yallourn NOW 2032), Bayswater in 2033, with Loyang A in 2045 and all other coal fired power stations.
And no consideration of them being closed be considered until assured supplies of base load electricity 24/7 is available from coal, gas or uranium powered generators. Even if this requires the coal fired generators be compulsory acquired by the relevant Government, in the National interest and to maintain the supply of base load electricity 24/7 that is essential to STOP the Grid from collapsing.

Particularly at 7pm and 7am (Or a time that suits you?) watch (and record) the mix of coal, gas hydro, batteries, solar and wind generation and the prices per MWh for each State on the AEMO dashboard.
Example: Eastern States 20/06/26 7.50am AEST.. Batteries 2%, Biomass 0%, Black Coal 45% Brown Coal 19%, Gas 5%, Hydro 10% Diesel 0% Solar 3%, Wind 16%. 7.50am, a peak time when solar is just waking up from its daily 17 hour, sunshine drought and wind is pottering along (as it is doing in NSW, being on only 8% wind), with no guarantee that a wind drought, might not be around the corner.
Meanwhile our coal fired generators are the backbone of the Grid. 20/6/26 7.50am AEST. In NSW coal is producing 74% Solar 2%, Wind 10%, Qld coal 70%, solar 12% wind 4% Vic Brown coal 69%, solar 0%, wind 29%. SA batteries 12%, gas 37%, solar 0%, wind 51% and Tas hydro 81%, wind 19%.
AND SOMETIMES SOME GENERATROS ARE BEING RUN AT A LOSS. As shown by these statistics what the generators are receiving for their Grid electricity. 28/3/26 8.10pm AESDST. In Qld the generators are only receiving $0.70MWh. NSW is being paid $37.89Mwh. SA is paying minus $4.00MWh (the generator is paying the Grid to take the power) Vic is paying minus $4.75MWh (the generator is paying the Grid to take the power) and Tas is paying $72.24MWh.
