1. Solar Farms, Wind Farms, Batteries are poison to electricity generation. A. They have a temporary working life (10 – 14 years for solar, wind. 5 years Batteries). B. They generate weak electricity. C. Their generation is unreliable. D. They generate the most expensive electricity possible. E. They are a nightmare to dismantle, dispose of and to restore the land. (If it ever is likely to happen?)
All these negative issues, will make the Grid unstable and push electricity prices sky high.
A recent report by the conservative Institute of Public Affairs think tank found federal subsidies for the 50 largest wind farms – of which 70 per cent are fully or partially foreign owned – amounted to $1.04bn last year (2024). (Unfolding disaster’: Country Councils slam chaotic renewables shift. W/E Australian 8/9 March 2025).
2. Permanently poisoning, millions of hectares of agricultural land removing it from production for 100 years and more.
3. Hugely increasing the risk of uncontrollable wildfires, which will threaten the safety of Country living.
4. Slaughtering our unique wildlife in numbers leading to extinction and the ruination of rural ecology.
5. Permanently poisoning land, along with surface and underground water runoff.
6. Disfiguring the renowned scenic beauty and peacefulness of the landscape.
7. Desecrating, priceless tourism attractions.
8. Devaluing land values and country lifestyles.
9. Renewable Energy Factories by their intermittent and unreliable renewable electricity production enormously increases electricity prices for both country and city consumers.
10. Australia’s national security is at risk, with a large part of our electricity production and distribution being controlled by foreign companies.
With Renewable Factories being so poisonous to Rural and all of Australia, they must be scrapped.
THIS MAKES OUR PETITION TO STOP THE CLOSURE OF ALL AUSTRALIAN COAL FIRED POWER STATIONS, SO IMPORTANT.
This includes Eraring in 2025, Yallourn in (2032 now 2028), Bayswater in 2033, with Loyang A in 2045 and all other coal fired power stations.
And no consideration of them being closed be considered until assured supplies of base load electricity 24/7 is available from coal, gas or uranium powered generators. Even if this requires the coal fired generators be compulsory acquired by the relevant Government, in the National interest and to maintain the supply of base load electricity 24/7 that is essential to STOP the Grid from collapsing.

Particularly at 7pm and 7am (Or a time that suits you?) watch (and record) the mix of coal, gas hydro, batteries, solar and wind generation and the prices per MWh for each State on the AEMO dashboard.
Example: Eastern States 7th March 2025 8.30pm AEDST. Batteries 2%, Biomass 0%, Black Coal 46% Brown Coal 16%, Gas 9%, Hydro 10% Diesel 0% Solar 0%, Wind 17%. 8.30pm a time when Solar has entered a daily 16 hours (lack of fuel), zero production period. Unreliable wind is all over the place averaging 17%, but ranging from only 3% in Tas, up to 46% in SA.
To underline the importance of our coal fired generators 07/03/25, 8.30 pm AEDST. In NSW coal is producing 71% Solar 0%, Wind 22%, Qld coal 76%, solar 0% wind 6% Vic Brown coal 63%, solar 0%, wind 22%. SA batteries 2%, gas 52%, solar 0%, wind 46% and Tas hydro 97%, wind 3%.
WITHOUT COAL AUSTRALIA WOULD BE BLACKED OUT.
