WIND FARMS WILL CAUSE CATASTROPHIC DAMAGE TO THE BIRDS BATS BEES AND ECOLOGY OF REGIONAL AUSTRALIA
The owners of Wind Farms are blinded by money and have absolutely zero concern as they scatter some 3,000 and heading towards 6,000 wind turbines on 230m to 280m towers, with blade diameters of 70m to 90m. They are unaware that they are spreading a net of bird, bat and bee shredders, in motion 24/7, across Rural Australia which will have devastating consequences.

That may bring some species to the edge of extinction and certainly disrupt the ecology of whole areas. As birds play an essential role in cleaning up dead carcases, stopping insects and grubs reaching plague proportions, removing rotting fruit, enabling pollination. The list is endless.
A major example. (The Australian 10/7/24) Tasmania’s approval of a major wind farm, despite the proponent’s projections it could kill up to 81 endangered eagles, has prompted calls for federal intervention. The proposed 300-megawatt St Patricks Plains wind farm – comprising 47 turbines 231m high in Tasmania’s Central Highlands – was on Monday approved by the state’s Environment Protection Authority. However, opponents on Tuesday flagged a potential legal challenge and urged Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek to block the project, given the likely impact on the endangered Tasmanian wedge-tailed eagle.
According to the EPA, proponent St Patricks Plains Wind Farm, owned by Korea Zinc, estimates the blades will kill on average two eagles a year, or 41 to 81 eagles across the farm’s 30-year lifespan, based on mitigation reducing 58.5 per cent of collisions. It is estimated only 220 Tasmanian wedge-tailed eagle breeding pairs remain, and there are fewer than 1000 birds overall. (It’s all based on modelling and we know how accurate that is!)
Experts warn there is insufficient consideration for the cumulative impact of multiple wind farms and fear Tasmania’s “wind rush” poses a “major threat” to the species’ survival. IN OTHER WORDS READ EXTINCTION.

And to make matters worse. Wind turbines are extremely inefficient. As they are powered by a weather fuel the Wind. They can only produce electricity, when the wind speed is between 12kms/hr and 90kms/hr. The industry reports that Wind Turbines only produce electricity on average for only 35% of their rated capacity or on average for eight hours per day. Wind Turbines can be becalmed for days at a time, producing no electricity. Likewise, if a gale blows for several days no electricity is produced. Wind turbines are completely unsuitable to supply a National Grid requiring base load power 24/7.
Wind turbines because they only on average generate for 35% of the time, require a complete backup system 24/7, which doubles the production cost. Allied with the fact that with wind turbines all aspects of mining, transport, production, shipping, construction, operation, dismantling and disposal are all very expensive. When all costs are taken into account electricity produced by wind turbines is the most expensive by a very wide margin. Another reason Wind turbines are completely unsuitable to supply a National Grid requiring base load power 24/7.

IT IS EXTREMELY CLEAR THAT THE TRANSITION TO RENEWABLES MUST BE STOPPED NOW! TO STOP THE WASTE OF $TRILLIONS AND THE DEGRADATION OF REGIONAL AUSTRALIA.
This again underlines how important it is that (beginning with Liddell which closed in April 2023, Eraring in 2025, Yallourn in (2032 now 2028), Bayswater in 2033, with Loyang A in 2045). AND THAT NONE OF THESE COAL FIRED POWER STATIONS BE DEMOLISHED AFTER IT IS CLOSED, BUT BE MOTHBALLED, SO IT CAN BE RESTARTED IN THE EVENT, THAT A SHORTAGE OF ELECTRICAL GENERATION REQUIRES IT TO BE RESTARTED. Even if this requires the coal fired generators be compulsory acquired by the relevant Government, in the National interest.
May I strongly urge all business owners, large and small. CEO’s Managers, those in charge of aged care homes, and other public institutions, everyone in a position of management. Homeowners, etc. Reliable, low-cost power is essential. Blackouts are a diabolically, serious issue. Talk with your management, boards, staff about how it will affect your business.
The ACT Government claims that they are totally renewable energy powered. The ACT Government is deluding themselves and doesn’t realise how wrong they are. As all their electricity comes from the NSW Grid. It is more likely to be anywhere between 60% to 80% fossil fuels and only 20% to 30% unreliables, with the damage unreliables are doing to Rural Australia the whole project is a disaster.

The Sun will soon set Solar will be 0% for the next 16 hours and between Batteries, Solar and Wind a pathetic 8%, a result that shows Renewables only purpose is to milk the Net Zero cow.
