In this speech Konstantin Kisin (a Russian emigrant to England) speaking to the Oxford Union Debate Club, outlines why wokeness is out of touch with reality. Konstantin says that it is the poor people of Asia and Latin America who will decide what happens in regard to Co2 emissions. They don’t care about saving the planet, but do care about surviving poverty and bettering the life of their children. They will do whatever they can to improve their living standards and getting a reliable supply of electricity by coal or gas fired generated electricity is a very important part of it.

May I strongly urge all business owners, large and small. CEO’s Managers, those in charge of aged care homes, and other public institutions, everyone in a position of management. Homeowners, etc. Blackouts are a diabolically, serious issue. Talk with your management, boards, staff about how it will affect your business.
Any business who believes that their business is totally renewable energy powered is deluding themselves and doesn’t realise how wrong they are. It is more likely to be 60% coal and only 30% renewables, with the 'permanent damage' that renewables are doing to Rural Australia can only be described as shameful.

Particularly at 7pm and 7am (Or a time that suits you?) watch (and record) the mix of coal, gas hydro, batteries, solar and wind generation and the prices per MWh for each State on the AEMO dashboard.
Example: Eastern States 28th February 5.20pm EDST. Batteries 0%, Biomass 0%, Black Coal 42% Brown Coal 18%, Gas 8%, Hydro 5% Diesel 0% Solar 15%, Wind 15%. In an hour Solar will have gone to sleep for the next 15 to 16 hours and produce nothing. Winds 15% is not assured, if the night is calm, that could be down to 2% or 3%.
IT WILL BE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TO GET TO A POINT WHERE AUSTRALIA RELY ONLY ON GENERATORS WHOSE PRODUCTION IS TOTALLY DEPENDENT ON THE UNCERTAINTY OF THE WEATHER.
OUR ENERGY SECURITY MUST BE GIVEN THE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY OF AN ESSENTIAL SERVICE.
