Dear Chancery Friends,

Please be advised that a press conference will be held today at 12pm outside the old U.S. Post Office in Downtown Rockford, Illinois (now the Rockford Park District Offices), 401 S. Main Street, Rockford, IL 61101, regarding a letter that I am sending today to Pope Francis asking him to intervene in the dispute over the former Rockford Chancery Building.

At the press conference, copies of the letter to Pope Francis will be provided.

Current Rockford Alderman Bill Rose is also expected to attend and speak at the press conference. Other supporters are also expected to attend.

In the event of inclement weather, the Press Conference will be moved inside to the lobby of the old Post Office/Park District Offices.
