Thanks to you and more than 3,200 fellow Petition supporters, we have raised great attention on the need to save Rockford’s Chancery Building, but we can’t stop now. 

Please join us Tuesday February 12 at 5:30pm at Rockford’s City Hall Council Chambers, when Rockford’s Historic Preservation Commission will conduct a hearing on our Historic Landmark Application for the Chancery Building. 

We will present our case to the Commission as to why the Chancery, St. Peter’s School, and the adjacent Convent building all merit inclusion as Rockford landmarks. Your presence at the hearing is not only a great way to show your support for the Landmark designation, it’s a way to show the Diocese that the community wants to be part of the solution for supporting the Church and the neighborhood where these buildings are located.
