Dear BioWare, Mac Walters, Kevin Meek, and the teams who have developed Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Please bring the co op Multiplayer to Legendary Edition. 

Firstly, to all Mass Effect players, and those who are purchasing Legendary edition: If you, dear reader, agree and want Multiplayer Co Op back, please sign this petition, share its link to social media. If you don’t agree with it, please at least sign it for those who do. It’ll mean more copies sold, more community teamwork. it’ll mean we can enjoy one of the best parts of the trilogy. Thank you in advance for helping.

Mr. Walters, I quote yourself here: “we want to see what kind of reception the Legendary Edition gets and what the demand for the multiplayer is. And then we'll ask ourselves if we have the resources and time to bring it up to the quality level we and fans want.”

And, more recently you said: “never say never” to the multiplayer which is great to hear! 

Thank you for responding about it, and I’d like to start by saying YES PLEASE. We as fans are very excited to play Mass Effect again with the Legendary Edition. All of the great moments, all the single player DLC, remastered and available as one package, is exciting. However, it’s missing - debatedly, one of the greatest components of Mass Effect. The Multiplayer Co Op. 

It was perfection, satisfying, the classes were fun, playing other races was great, the modes were replayable, the community stuck around and continues to stick around, it is still played today in the original trilogy’s Mass Effect 3. And it has a huge demand. But, many people are likely holding back from purchasing if it’s not reinstated into Legendary Edition. 

I speak for myself, but also on behalf of every person who spent time playing the multiplayer mode and counted toward the War Efforts Campaign, or just to play with friends. I hope to speak on behalf of those who don’t use social media too who reminisce of it - Please reintroduce the multiplayer back to us, please bring it back. Let us play it in Legendary Edition. It’ll be so glorious. 

And with the modding community at baited breath, or in a state of confusion as to your comments about modding, bringing back the MP Assets will also help mods to become compatible. But, that’s another petition which is open to discussion elsewhere. 

Finally, to the team - this is an Optional note - Here are some ideas for your team: 

1. If you can bring back our old data so we can pick up where we left off, that’ll be excellent. Call it “Spectre Ops” and reward us with some cool items to let us stand out to other players. That’ll be nice. 
2. BattlePasses are a thing, and I’m sure many people won’t mind having one. I’d buy it. 
3. Reduce the credit cost for boxes in game and increase rewards. You did great QoL adjustments to single player, so please do the same with MP. 
4. Crossplay. This will bridge old and new players. If you can do this, it’ll be such a great help to bridge active communities.
