Proper planning should be based on current circumstances, not a decade-old environmental review. Tell NY State that dramatic changes in school over-crowding, traffic, pedestrians, park finances (given the real estate boom), flood zones, hospital closings and other changes in the past decade warrant study in a supplemental environmental impact statement (SEIS) and mitigation, as required by law. Join the Brooklyn Heights Association, the Willowtown Association, and all other neighbors in opposing new park housing at Pier 6.
