NEWS: Save Alex's Bagels

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving! When we started this petition, it was with the intention of getting a conversation started about how we, as a community, could save our bagel shop. I'm so thankful for the 1,000+ people who have supported our cause. Unfortunately, we are a month away from the expiration of Alex's Bagel's lease with Big Y and we have very little good news to share. For the last few months, Alex and his wife Nina had been in talks with Peachwave and Steve Walker of Grove Properties to share space in the yogurt shop. For a long time, it seemed like things were going well. Yesterday, however, we found out that Mr. Walker withdrew their offer and we again find ourselves without many options and not much time. On Thanksgiving we give thanks for all that we have: for our friends and family. We are charitable on Thanksgiving. So my Thanksgiving request of you is this -- can you help Alex's Bagels?
