Got “pride” in your product, Big Dairy? Call it “cow milk!”

Dairy sales are dropping, so Desperate Dairy continues its pouting, urging the FDA to stop almond milk, soy milk and other dairy-free from being called “milk.” Urged by the industry, Senator Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin (a major dairy-producing state) has introduced The Defending Against Imitations and Replacements of Yogurt, milk, and cheese to Promote Regular Intake of Dairy Everyday Act — better known as the “Dairy Pride Act.” But if the dairy industry really takes “pride” in its product, why not proudly label it what it is: “cow milk?” Click to read more, and keep sharing our petition to keep up the pressure on Big Dairy!
