The campaign has come a long way all thanks to amazing supporters like you. You have signed, shared the petition, and many of you even contributed by tweeting to the decision maker to take action.
I read the comment sections where all of you have mentioned your various reasons for signing the petition, and it made me realize that each one of you personally relates to the petition’s ask. For some, it is women safety, women empowerment, and for most, it’s both.
I feel that you can contribute more to this campaign than just signing and sharing the petition. The campaign is now getting bigger, and I am gearing up for launching a social media page which will be dedicated to female commercial drivers. The page will share stories of women drivers. The stories will include what their motivation is, what were the struggles they faced, and how they overcome those difficulties.
I request you all to be a part of this campaign in whatever way you can. If the question- “How can I contribute.” nudges you, here are a few things you can do for the campaign:
1. Send in stories of female commercial drivers
2. If you are a creative person maybe help with designing the logo for the page
3. If you are good with writing, help with editing the stories
4. If you have excellent communication skills, maybe interview female drivers in your city
5. If you are good at publicity, you could be a great asset for grabbing more eyeballs for the page
And you don’t necessarily have to be a master at any of the above to be a part of this team. Everyone has ideas, and if you have an idea about how to make this campaign success, you are one of the most significant assets.
