Israel has been responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent Palestinians, continues to treat them as second class citizens whilst most are living in an open air prison without any hope of change pressed by the international community. In light of Beyonce's recent song which outlines the theme of oppression, it seems contradictory to perform in a state many consider to be one of the most oppressive in the world. Many would be grateful if such an influential figure, would support the Palestinian struggle.
