Tonight we were walking through the camp wishing each other Happy New Year when they skidded in like there was a full on riot and decided to throw us this sickening present. If you've ever experienced this you'll know tear gas rips your throat out, aggravates your eyes and makes you feel SICK. Sick that 50 riot police feel it necessary to intimidate already persecuted people. Sick that these 'humans' are not being brought up to face the law they say they are protecting.
