Beretta USA builds excellent firearms, and one of the pinnacles of Beretta's ability was the excellent line of Elite pistols: Essentially a 92G (decocking lever only) with a beefed up Brigadier slide featuring user-removable sights and a frame sporting skeletonized hammer, a beveled magazine well and extended extended magazine release, the Elite series was just as capable of winning national championships as it was riding in the holsters of police officers nationwide.

I have it on good authority that these models sold well after Ernest Langdon used this pistol to win the 2000 USPSA Production Nationals. With a repeat of that feat in 2011 by Ben Stoeger, many are suddenly interested in the finest pistol produced by Beretta.

Sadly, however, these haven't been available for a while and used models are commanding ever-increasing sums at auctions.

With that in mind, I hope that you to join in this petition asking Beretta USA to re-release the superlative Elite series of pistols again…
