NATIONAL HOMELESSNESS CRISIS Impacting Bellingham, WA

We need to ACT NOW. With warmer months ahead of us, people are migrating north seeking shelter and a method of survival. Our summer months are brief and we can anticipate a flux in population growth that will not be sustained by our housing and shelter plan. I hope that we are all proactive this spring and summer with REAL-TIME SOLUTIONS. The winter months in the northwest are not suitable to living outdoors. We will be in no position to sustain this population growth without comprehensive planning and prioritization for housing and shelter options feasible and available to all.
