Will you come out to help support your neighbors on Tuesday, August 25, 7pm at the Town Hall? Verizon's latest proposal includes a diagram of a 140-foot cell tower with 48 antennas on 4 levels (instead of 12 antennas on one level originally proposed), for the Aldrich St. neighborhood in the near future. This tower would be placed just 145 feet from an abutter's property and very close to other homes and families. The access road and compound are even closer to the abutting properties. Most disturbing is the fact that there are other, less detrimental alternatives for siting the antenna to improve coverage, yet Verizon continues to pursue the option that has the most negative impact on residents in the community. Please come out to the Planning Board meeting Tuesday August 25, 7pm at the Town Hall across from the library.
