As a visitor of the Maldives, a friend of nature and wildlife I see the beauty of this gem of the world and I am very concerned about the behaviour of many guests in several resorts. I have seen how people leave their cigarettes in the fine sand, step on corals and pick up fragile marine life, like sea stars and others, shark feeding and touching stingraysI am shocked that resorts do not set strict guidelines for their guests to protect their wealth.

We, as guests , are not allowed to do as we want just because we paid. We have to respect that nature is fragile and we have to protect it.

I have collected so much trash from one of the most beautiful beach in the world caused by guests of the resort.

Please sign this petition in order to have guidelines created by each resort which need to be signed by every guest.
