EISELE’S MAY HAVE BEEN SOLD — BUT THIS FIGHT IS NOT OVER.

Paramus residents have watched too much open land disappear, too much development go up, and too many decisions get made while the people who actually live here are left asking what happened.
Now Eisele’s has been sold.
That does not mean we stop.
It means we keep signing.
We keep sharing.
We keep demanding answers.
Why are luxury developments allowed to keep multiplying while residents are told affordable-housing obligations require sacrificing more of the land that makes Paramus feel like a community?
Why couldn’t more affordable units have been incorporated into other large residential developments?
Why should taxpayers continually absorb higher costs, heavier traffic, more congestion, and less open space without having a meaningful voice in decisions that permanently reshape our town?
We are asking Paramus officials to publicly explain what happened, what options remain, and whether residents can be given a direct public vote on the future of this property or on any possible preservation effort.
564 people have already signed. Our next goal is 1,000.
This is about more than one piece of property.
It is about our children having green space.
It is about seniors and veterans having peaceful community space.
It is about responsible development.
It is about transparency.
And it is about whether the people who pay the taxes and call Paramus home deserve a real voice in what Paramus becomes.
The land may have been sold. Our voices were not.
Please sign. Please share. And please do not assume it is too late simply because a sale occurred.
Paramus belongs to its community too.
