Our families, our children, our veterans, and our history deserve a voice. People from every walk of life have called Paramus home and contributed to the community we have today. Now our town needs to step up.

The people of Paramus should decide what happens—not simply whoever is willing to throw millions of dollars at the issue. Paramus is not a “suburb of New York.” It is our town, our community, and our home.

We understand that money is a factor. But if our taxes may rise, then present the alternatives, match the price, and give residents the opportunity to choose what is worth preserving. At the very least, the town should put this to a public vote.

We also deserve transparency. Why was the land beside the duck pond initially approved to be preserved, only for the final decision-maker to say “no” at the last moment? What changed, and why? These are fair questions, and the public deserves clear answers.

Please keep sharing. Keep speaking up. Keep this going until the people of Paramus are heard. We will fight until the end—and whatever happens, we will know that we did everything we could.
