Happy December! At Mayor's Question Time next week Jenny Jones, a London Assembly Member and Chair of the Economy Committee, is going to ask the Mayor of London an important question off the back of our campaign. "In light of the 'Greater London National Park' campaign, will you investigate how you could add to the success of policies like the All London Green Grid to realise some of the aspirations of this campaign, including pursuing UNESCO's urban biosphere designation?" I am hoping that he will realise ALL of the aspirations of our campaign. Our campaign is radical and counterintuitive. 99% of people who I meet think making London a National Park is a great idea, but about 98% currently think it will never happen. As someone who has signed this petition, you make up part of the 1%. Our challenge is to convince more people that we really CAN make London a National Park as the more endorsement we get the more likely we are to succeed.
