Hello, Our campaign is building serious momentum and we have had some great wins this week. IUCN World Parks Congress I presented our initiative to make London a National Park City at this major conservation event that only takes place once every ten years. Park leaders from several major cities are inspired by the idea and considering if their city could become a National Park City. High profile support This week a letter appeared in the London Evening Standard inviting readers to become Founders of the Greater London National Park. The letter was signed by George Monbiot, Sir Terry Farrell CBE, Camila Batmanghelidjh, Chris Packham, Griff Rhys Jones, Professor Michael Depledge, Alastair Humphreys, Michael Rosen, Sally Kettle, David Lindo, Lauren O’Farrell, Tom Chivers, Melissa Harrison, Dr Bradley Garrett, Robert Macfarlane and Lucy Cooke. There are 1,692 of us! As I type there are now 1,692 of us who have signed this petition. We are now supported by 83 organisations, a number that grows every week. Making London a National Park City would be transformative and together we can make it happen. Here's how you can help: 1. Amplify our message Our goal is for 10,000 people to sign this petition.
