Gullah/Geechee Fishing Associations Files a Motion Against Bay Point Appeal

The Gullah/Geechee Fishing Association is standing up for their traditional fishing rights and sacred land to be protected.  The South Carolina Environmental Law Project (SCELP) filed a motion for them to be allowed to intervene at the Beaufort County Board of Zoning Appeals hearing on Thursday at 5 pm in Beaufort County Council Chambers and the destructionment company that wants to build on a Bay Point is trying to block their ability to do so.  Please come out in support of the Gullah/Geechee Fishing Association (www.GullahGeecheeNation.com and their families in the Gullah/Geechee Nation.
