Myself and a few other people complained about the social justice publication and the Remembrance Day post on the BCTF's Remembrance Day post. That post has been deleted from their page. Rather than deal with the concerns of teachers, civilians and military personnel it was deleted. Deleting a post does not make this issue go away. As educators I hope they understand that. Teachers are supposed to deal with ideas which often will include controversy and we are expected to address them, not pretend they don't exist. I am disappointed in the Federation.
