277 Signatures, No Action So Far

As of today, September 22, 2018, we have 277 signatures. No action has been taken despite assurances work would be started by September 15th.
I am sending this petition along with the following text to the parties listed below this morning:
To Whom it May Concern (BC Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure & Others),
The citizens of Pemberton request that our crosswalks on Portage Road (Hwy 99) be painted immediately. They are the responsibility of the MOTI and it’s contractors and have deteriorated to the point of being invisible. This Road passes through our Village, including the elementary school and it’s maintenance is therefore essential for the safety of our citizens, especially children walking to and from school.
We would like the Minstry and it’s representatives to ensure the obligations of the paving service contract are being upheld, especially in light of the fact that the service contract expires the December.
Thank you,
Nicole Brink
