Women and girls have been going missing while hitchhiking on Highway 16 over the past decade, my goal is to create a safe and free shuttle bus for women from Prince Rupert to Prince George running a trip to and from once a week. This shuttle bus is crucial for seeing a change in the ongoing violence, as it would keep vulnerable women off long, deserted, and violent stretch of land.  I am hoping to receive 400 signatures, send in this petition with a letter attached to the two bus companies, and start discussing making a difference.
