We are a group of people who eagerly request to broadcast a series on BBC1/2 that we very much enjoyed watching on iPlayer - My Jihad.

We strongly believe that this is a series that needs to be shown to a broader audience and not just something accessible for those who use the web on a regular basis. In a time where Islamophobia is rife we need more people to see this disarming and honest drama. It shows Islam and the asian community in a light that is not often displayed in the media which is what makes this series so endearing and entertaining. 

The feedback on Twitter and other social websites has been phenomenal and largely positive which indicates that a wider audience will also appreciate this brilliant series.

We would like to congratulate the BBC for making such a brilliantly directed, produced and acted piece of work. Please don't let it go unwatched by thousands of people and share your great work with many more.
