Dear Mr Bryce,

I hope this message finds you well and, at this difficult time, you and your team are all keeping safe.

We are writing to you to ask you to save something that we all find very precious - something at the heart of our community. Eagle Radio.

From across Surrey and North-East Hampshire: households, commuters, residents and businesses of all kinds - we all tune in to listen to 96.4FM (and DAB) because we love Eagle Radio - the station that loves Surrey and Hampshire.

It's not just about local news and content - although the news team at Eagle Radio are utterly brilliant. When we call in or listen into the £1000 minute, we feel like it might be us or someone we know. We listen in to The Peter Gordon breakfast show with Peter, Bev, Carol and Matt because we know them, we want to talk to them and listen to music together, we want to hear them talk about shopping in Guildford and join in. We want to share thoughts about what it's like to go for a walk around Frensham Little Ponds, or even just rant about the traffic on the Hogs back!

We listen in because Eagle Radio feels like our radio station, the voices are our voices. Please don't take Eagle Radio away from us. Greatest Hits from London may sound great on paper, but we promise you you'll be throwing away something that is part of the heart of our community...we love Eagle Radio and we listen in because we feel we're being listened to.

Please listen to us now and please save Eagle Radio. You won't regret it, so say all of us who have signed this letter and would be more than happy to talk to you about how much we love Eagle Radio.

Yours,

Listeners who love Eagle Radio, the station that loves Surrey and Hampshire.
