Natre Capital LLC & Summit Materials dba Georgia Stone Products has proposed to develop a construction aggregate limestone quarry to supply construction materials. Proposed site starts up where the Vulcan plant ends. Located East of I-75 and south of SR 140. nearest address is 1586 Hwy 140.(near Siniard Rd) They have requested to have over 700 acres rezoned to M1 (mining). Currently surrounded on 3 sides by residents of Bartow County zoned AG1. This is not in a commercial area of Bartow. It is very close to the Adares neighborhood as well as many farms, single family residences and churches.

HOW WILL I POTENTIALLY BE AFFECTED?
1. Carcinogenic dust - 5 mile radius
2. Truck traffic- estimated 365 trucks per day taken from their application
3. Property Values - 5 mile radius can lose up to 20% of their property value
4. Water resources - potential collapse of private wells by blasting - pollutants into underlying aquifers
