I just wanted to give you an update on the campaign. Last time I posted back in December 2020, Highways agreed to review everything in December 2021 after they'd spent the grant to improve the A628 that runs through Millhouse Green. Over the last 12 months, they've been working through a schedule of works to "reduce the speed of traffic" then at the end of it, they'll do a speed review. November 2020's speed review showed the average speed at 36mph. Their aim is that the work over the last 12 months will have reduced the average speed closer to 30MPH. If that is the case, then Highways and the Police have said they'd support the reduction of the speed limit to 30MPH.

I've spoken with the Highways and the Council this week and the speed review is planned for February 2022, so we are hoping for a meeting at the end of February 2022 - hopefully by then, there should be another step towards the reduction in the speed limit to 30MPH.
