Dear Friends and Supporters, a) Waste relocation in Abbots Depot: London Transport has actually admitted to us in an email that there is 'likely to be an increase in traffic due to the relocation of the waste depot' It seems that they are the only ones that can do maths. We need to fight the decision of the Mayor of London so please donate so that we can do so. You can also reach us on barnetraad@gmail.com and donate via Paypal:barnetraad@gmail.com or ac no: 21575996 sort code: 404758 quote:Abbots b) GLA elections 2016: Cllr Thomas along with Cllr Rutter have been instrumental in bringing the waste, vermin, air pollution, traffic to our doorstep. As a true politician, he now has the nerve to ask for our support and vote so that he can be the next representative of Barnet in the GLA. It is up to each and every one of us whether we want a representative that puts the party before his people so please think carefully before you vote. c) North London Business Park: Through the leaflet copied and pasted below, we just found out that there is another secret consultation taking place for the new developments in NLBP. Please take some time to go there on Saturday and find out what is happening. Please see text of leaflet below: Dear Resident The Comer Group is developing proposals to introduce a mixed-use development on what is the current North London Business Park. The high quality proposals include providing much needed homes for the local market and a state of the art secondary school. The benefits for the community also include a new allweather sports pitch, a new library and a retail offer to suit the local need. As part of the proposals, we would like to deliver small-scale offices appropriate for start-up businesses in the local area. We are holding an exhibition on Wednesday 18th November from 4pm to 8pm and on Saturday 21st November from 10am to 1pm onsite at North London Business Park. This will provide residents with an opportunity to discuss the proposals with key members of the team. Please do come to our public exhibition as we would very much like to meet with you and hear your views. If you cannot attend, you can contact us on consultation@terrapincommunications.co.uk or 0203 174 2018. Yours sincerely The Comer Group
