Barnet Council have accepted our Library Petition and it is to be presented at the 20th July "Policy & Resources Committee" meeting.  All your great comments will be considered and I've been given 3 minutes to speak on the subject.

That same evening, we're organising a demo outside the Town Hall at 6:30.

Demo Info

If we don't protest in large numbers, as well as being kicked out our library building, there will be 1000 more students* living in Hendon in huge new accommodation blocks built on our community facilities and crammed into our heritage and residential areas.

Local residents, businesses, our MP and London Assembly Member all agree that this many students in Hendon 24/7 creates a disproportionate population mix and brings many serious issues to the area.

So please do pop by for half an hour to say NO to these catastrophic plans. We can't do it without you.

LEAFLETS COMING THROUGH YOUR DOORS SOON!

*Numbers from Barnet Council Local Plan plus a private block that's just been approved by Barnet Planners.
