RHDV2 RABBIT VIRUS NIGHTMARE CONTINUES TO RAGE IN AUSTRALIA

We are seeing an upsurge in reports coming in daily from most states in Australia of new reports of RHDV2 as we have come in to Spring.... this is an epidemic of a virus that is not species specific.... . We have NO vaccine for this Strain, which kills Hares as well as rabbits..... Heart break and despair is growing as time passes and we still do not have a vaccine for this new strain.... Some people have lost every rabbit they had... children with special needs have been traumatised by the loss of special companion rabbits.... one face of a child will haunt me forever... however many children and families have and continue to be just devastated by the loss of loved family pets, rare breeds breed by rabbit show people, have been lost, meat breeders losing their livelihood.. the list goes on. Many of these rabbits have been vaccinated with the current available vaccine but have still died... We have never had a problem or an epidemic of this scale before.... We need urgently to have current up to date vaccines specific for the new strains to be made available as soon as possible.... Act now sign and share this update far and wide ...
