Good afternoon everyone, First off, thank you all again for signing this petition. Hopefully together with the great news coverage and a steady social media push (please keep tweeting "@BarackObama" with #ILLINOISInvitesObama), we'll get Obama to Illinois. Today at 5:15, in the Illini Union by the South Lounge, we're having a letter writing event. We'll have props (including a cutout Obama) for you to take pictures with for social media, plenty of pens and paper to write your own letter (which will be delivered to Obama), and snacks and hot cocoa as a reward!
