Ashraf Fayadh, a Palestinian artist and poets lives in Saudi Arabia was detained in by Saudi Arabian religious police. He was first sentenced to four years and 800 lashes for "blasphemy". On the appeal stage of his sentence the court sentenced him to death for "Apostasy".
