With the Brexit, when Britain leaves the European Union, it will be quite isolated.  But the perfect solution is at hand.  The United States Constitution allows for new states.  Great Britain could join the United States as the four states of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Great Britain could become a fully integrated part of the United States.
