Every year critically endangered animals are being killed across Indonesia. 

Steel cable or nylon rope is normally used. As the animal places it’s foot, or neck through the noose depending how it’s set.  As the animal struggles to try to free itself it becomes tighter and tighter. Eventually cutting its throat or hitting a bone. 

It’s such a barbaric way to die. Presently many communities use these snares to catch wild bore and deer but at the same time some of these communities are opportunists and will sell on other species to buyers and traders of animal parts. 

We have personally witness the death of so many animals from bears, tigers and even elephants. 

It’s time to ban the snare Indonesia.
