It's great to see this new article by John Boyko in the Ottawa Citizen! Boyko suggests that "Those we choose to celebrate in books or bronze, or on whatever that sticky polymer stuff passing as paper money is, say a great deal about the character traits and achievements we believe represent the best of us."
